The McLaren driver and Ferrari home favourite are under investigation for arriving late to the official FIA media session, triggering a review under Article B10.1.1a of the sporting regulations.
Both drivers featured in the first of two scheduled groups during Thursday’s press conference, which was delayed by a couple of minutes after Norris failed to arrive on time.
The FIA has confirmed both will appear before the stewards on Friday morning, with Leclerc scheduled to attend at 10am local time and Norris 10 minutes later.
The breach relates specifically to late attendance at the official Thursday press conference, which forms part of mandatory media obligations for drivers across race weekends.
While the offence is considered minor in nature, it remains a technical breach of the regulations and typically results in either a reprimand or a small fine.
Drivers are split into two groups of three for the Thursday media session, a format introduced in recent years to balance coverage and avoid overcrowding in the FIA’s one-hour window.
